Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Advanced Practice Physiotherapist to lead our newly developed Perinatal Pelvic Health Service at Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust. The successful applicant will be highly skilled, proficient, and confident in the delivery of evidence-based assessments and treatments for a wide variety of perinatal pelvic health conditions.
In this role, you will provide clinical leadership to the Perinatal Pelvic Health Service, contributing to the delivery of the service against nationally agreed service specifications. The role will also provide clinical and leadership support to our Urogynaecology Physiotherapy Service. The role will involve both clinical delivery to an advanced level, often working outside the scope of normal physiotherapy practice to ensure efficient and effective care for a diverse perinatal patient population. In line with the Advance Practice Pillars, the successful candidate will also be expected to demonstrate leadership qualities alongside active involvement in both research and education of others. The successful candidate will work closely with the wider MDT including but not limited to the midwifery service, Urogynaecology Physiotherapy, and Obstetric Physiotherapy Team.

To take a lead role in the advanced assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of the most highly complex caseload within this specialist field using both advanced physiotherapeutic skills and skills which may have traditionally been undertaken by medics.
Report to the Outpatient Physiotherapy Clinical Service Manager and Clinical Specialist Urogynaecology Physiotherapists to ensure the appropriate training, education, and clinical support is offered to services supporting the delivery of the Perinatal Pelvic Health Pathway.
To lead and support audit, patient engagement, and research projects in relation to Pelvic Health services in order to advance service delivery.

Qualifications
Essential
* Degree in physiotherapy or equivalent
* HCPC registration
* Completion or currently working towards an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice (Pelvic Health)
Desirable
* Member of CSP
* Postgraduate qualification appropriate to the specialty
