Salary: £13 per hour
Shift hours: 17:00 - 01:30
Your purpose will be: Responsible for the Hotel’s Cloakrooms from both ongoing service and cleanliness.
You will be accountable for:
1. Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
2. Showing utmost courtesy to all guests and helping wherever the need arises.
3. Giving guests directions as needed.
4. Tagging all bags and coats properly and handing over the corresponding number to the guest.
5. Keeping all bags out of sight and secure.
6. Returning any items to guests only when the corresponding ticket is handed in.
7. Handing over all Lost and Found articles to Security by the end of shift.
8. Ensuring any ticket loss is resolved with the help of Security to the full satisfaction of the guest.
9. Arranging with Valet to supply customers with jackets and ties to comply with dress code, if needed.
10. Acting as an Ambassador for the hotel, interacting positively and engagingly with all guests and patrons at every opportunity.
11. Keeping all wet areas (urinals, toilets, washbasins, floor) spotlessly clean at all times.
12. Ensuring a constant supply of clean hand towels and other items as required.
13. Monitoring and replacing all paper requirements in a timely manner.
14. Leaving agreed guest supplies on display and refilling them.
15. Maintaining stock of additional items to be available upon request.
16. Providing shoe shine service if needed.
17. Handing out towels to patrons and assisting in other reasonable hygiene needs (e.g., turning on taps) as required.
18. Cooperating fully with all other operating departments in the hotel.
What you will need to do in this role:
1. 1-3 years’ experience working in the Hospitality Industry.
2. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
3. A confident and dynamic speaker, able to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of an organization.
4. Enthusiastic and positive personality with the ability to build trusting relationships with others.
5. Proven organizational skills, works well independently, and able to set and meet deadlines with quality results.
6. Applicable job-related skills as per Accountable Duties.
