Our client are a leading UK housebuilder and are seeking an ambitious and highly motivated **Assistant Site Manager** to join the newly appointed project team on a new 100 unit development near Chichester.

**Responsibilities:**
* Assist the Site Manager in all aspects of site operations, including planning, scheduling, and supervision of subcontractors.
* Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and company procedures.
* Monitor progress against programme and budgets.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation.
* Proactively identify and resolve site issues.
* Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
* Experience with timber frame construction is highly desirable.
**Requirements:**
* Proven experience as an Assistant Site Manager or similar role within the construction industry.
* Strong understanding of building regulations and construction best practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
* Valid CSCS card.
* SMSTS qualification and First Aid Certificate preferred.
