Line management of staff. Audit and evaluation of the service Deputising for Service Lead Identify and manage any risks that may impact on service delivery Being part of Duty Manager system for the Trust Manage budgets, recruitment, sickness, annual leave etc. Clinical Facilitate groups Carry out mental health assessments and develop formulations to ensure the identification, treatment and management of personality disorder and other mental health diagnosis. Work collaboratively with service users and their families Ensure that services offered are culturally sensitive and appropriate Actively seek the views of service users and their families to help shape the service. Be aware of service users needs in times of crisis and support staff to identify signs of mental health relapse Provide clinical leadership both internally and externally. Training & Development Develop a leadership culture where staff are empowered and encouraged to work to a continuous improvement model. Set up and maintain a staff induction programme Ensure all staff attend supervision, have a PDR, complete mandatory training, and are able to access relevant training for their role Act as a clinical supervisor for the psychotherapeutic programme. Work with ex-service users to deliver training Communication Work in partnership to develop clear and effective pathways for personality disorder Liaise and communicate effectively and sensitively with other professionals, providing specialist advice as necessary. Provide a point of contact for external enquires and complaints concerning CNS and TVI-PD Service and Policy Interpret Local and National policy, using to inform and support strategic and operational planning Ensure professional behaviour of all team members Participate in the recruitment process Ensure accurate records are maintained across the service Please refer to the job description and guidance notes attached for further information on this role
