This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual who wants to develop their career in Mortgages. As part of our Mortgages Product Team, you’ll play a key role in managing our existing mortgage propositions – becoming an expert on mortgage products & policy, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring good outcomes for our customers.
You’ll ensure that our products, propositions and processes are operating to the required standard, as well as help identify and resolve complex and high-profile issues relating to the management of Nationwide mortgages as they arise.
You’ll also help us push forward the product oversight and governance strategy for mortgages.

What you’ll be doing
* You’ll be working on a variety of mortgage projects in a fast-paced environment, helping to co-ordinate activity amongst stakeholders. You’ll need to be flexible in your approach depending on the demands of the project.
* You’ll lead in-depth reviews of our mortgage products, policies, processes & propositions, identifying issues or areas of improvement as they arise, and supporting in issue resolution.
* You’ll monitor customer outcomes through data, MI & deep dives.
* You’ll be supporting policy review and change where the need arises, helping improve customer experience.
About You
The minimum requirements for the role are:
* You will be able to demonstrate significant knowledge and understanding of the UK mortgage market.
* You will have experience working in a project-based environment with responsibility for leading change - Preferably in a Product team.
* You’ll have demonstrable experience in line managing teams of 2+.
* You’ll have previous experience liaising with Stakeholders (up to and including Senior Management)
* You’ll be confident in preparing and presenting written proposals up to Senior Management level
* You can evidence solving problems that balance both customer and business needs
