Interim Management Accountant York based not for profit are looking for and interim Management Accountant for a period of up to three months with an immediate start. Key responsibilities: Produce monthly management reports for all budget holders, including detailed variance analysis, and regularly meet with budget holders to review these. Support the Director of Finance in the budget building process, providing detailed analysis and working with budget holders to evidence needs and requests. Provide financial returns as required by service/contract commissioners to the Service Managers. Analyse key financial data and advise senior management on strategic planning. Prepare financial reports and budgets, control and forecast income and expenditure You will be able to demonstrate: Qualified Accountant with CCAB (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIPFA, CIMA) or similar qualification/experience Substantial experience as a Management Accountant or Finance Manager. Proficiency in business management and accounting software such as Accounts IQ, Sage 200, Xero, or QuickBooks. Experience in the Not-for-Profit sector, particularly in a charity, is desirable.
