Key responsibilities:
* Be integral to the delivery of technical projects, producing high-quality deliverables and working both independently and as part of a team.
* Play a fundamental role in the development of other team members.
* Utilize problem-solving skills on challenging radioactive waste management issues.
* Understand the radioactive waste management lifecycle and align approaches across projects and applicable national policies and legislation.
* Develop an environment of continuous improvement within projects/programs, including environmental permitting and assessment requirements (BPM).
* Maintain a strong customer focus and develop client relationships.
* Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Skills and qualifications:
* Degree in a physical science or equivalent training/experience.
* Significant proven experience in radioactive waste management, with a minimum of 3-5 years.
* Experience in two or more of the following areas: decommissioning, characterization, disposability assessments, environmental legislation application, BAT/BPM assessments, DQO application, and waste assay techniques.
* Ability to prioritize based on business needs and lead certain projects.
