With a strong technical background in IT infrastructure, the successful candidate will be responsible for the development of solutions built on enterprise class platforms to meet business requirements, corporate strategies, and architectural standards. You will be responsible for designing solutions that are delivering real change, across wide range of services provided by the council, helping to improve the lives of people living in Hampshire, including some of the most vulnerable. You will have an opportunity to really make a positive impact through the solutions you design. You will act as a trusted advisor to colleagues at all levels across IT and the wider business. Working alongside highly skilled and supportive Technical Specialists and Enterprise Architects, you will produce fully costed end-to-end Infrastructure solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements, conform to County Council’s architecture standards, and oversee the implementation of these. The successful candidate will have Hybrid Cloud experience including design work, utilising a wide range of concepts and technologies such as SaaS/PaaS/IaaS/On-Premises hosting, application provisioning and integration, Identity and Access Management (IdAM), Windows Server, firewalls, load balancers, and databases (both HCC hosted and cloud).
