Duties and Responsibilities
As a Client Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for:
1. Managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring their needs are met efficiently.
2. Preparing and reviewing:
1. VAT Returns
2. Personal Tax Returns
3. Annual Accounts
4. Company Tax Returns (CT600s)
5. Directors' Tax Returns
3. Holding client meetings to review and discuss their requirements.
4. Reviewing client services and updating billing where necessary.
5. Liaising with assistants to ensure deadlines are met.
6. General office and staff management when required.
7. Promoting the firm by attending networking events.
8. Liaising with directors on client issues and queries.
Skills and Experience Required
Qualifications:
1. AAT Level 3/4 qualified or currently studying. Alternatively, substantial relevant experience will be considered.
Experience:
1. At least 5 years of experience working in an accountancy practice.
2. Familiarity with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Free Agent.
3. Proficiency in CRM systems.
Personal Qualities:
1. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
2. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
3. A team player who thrives in a close-knit, collaborative environment.
