The Opportunity
Due to significant growth, Angus and Oink is looking to enhance its administrative infrastructure through the employment of an exceptional business administrator.
In this role you will be responsible for the business administration in relation to the manufacture and distribution of blended spice products at our Deeside facility. The role will involve working within our business team to ensure the effective procurement of raw materials, processing of orders and business administrative support functions.

The Role
Reporting to the General Manager, the role will consist of the following key areas:
* Internal Sales and support for existing and new clients
* Procurement of materials from suppliers to support the business
* Logistical support
* Maintain systems associated with the business in production and sales
* Administration support for Food Safety Systems
Day to Day Activities
* Receive and process sales orders from email and telephone. Work with XERO accounting software to log orders and process for the dispatch team.
* Acknowledge orders with retailers and communicate with retail customers to ensure they are satisfied with service and aware of new products, have up-to-date marketing information etc.
* Ensure orders are fulfilled by packing team and dispatched in a timely manner.
* Support company logistics by booking in collections and deliveries of palletized cargo. Work with goods in team to record deliveries.
* Order raw materials and packaging from approved suppliers.
* Maintain a variety of data on approved suppliers.
* Answer the telephone and customer service emails.
* Where required, track deliveries through DPD system.
* Provide administrative support on food safety systems by collating and recording site information to support SALSA food accreditation and training.
* Provide administrative support for site inventory management system.

Requirements
Above all, this role requires a very strong player willing to get hands-on and work with a fantastic product range and an even more fantastic team of people.
We will require someone with experience of business software including account packages such as Xero. A level of financial experience and commercial practices will be really helpful in making the most of this opportunity.
Food and Drink experience is not essential but would be helpful; however, working experience within a small business environment where everyone gets involved is essential.
