A client of ours in the Clacton on Sea area are recruiting a Technical Publications Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm or 8.00am - 4.00pm and paying £30,000 - £37,000 per annum depending on experience. This role is seeking appointment by November 2024 ahead of the current Publications Assistant retirement.
Key Duties include but are not limited to:
1. Create and maintain customer-facing, product-based technical documentation, such as data sheets, manuals, sales literature, and drawings, using the Adobe Creative Suite of programs.
2. Support product development teams in creating documentation for new products.
3. Create and maintain product-based sales literature.
4. Prepare drawings for data sheets, manuals, user guides, and sales literature.
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Technical Publications Assistant position:
5. Experience in using Adobe InDesign on Mac or PC essential.
6. Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
7. BTEC level 3 or equivalent in Electronics
8. High attention to detail.
9. GCSE English and Maths grade C (level 4) or above
