SEN Teaching Assistant (ASD)
Location: SheffieldSalary: £90 per day
Are you passionate about making a difference in the life of a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)? We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Supply Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a year 4 child with ASD.
If you have experience working with children with additional needs and strong behaviour management skills, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do:
* Provide 1:1 Support: Work closely with a child with ASD, offering personalised assistance and encouragement.
* Implement IEPs: Help put Individual Education Plans into action, ensuring the child receives the support they need.
* Manage Behaviour: Utilise strong behaviour management skills to create a positive and structured learning environment.
* Create a Positive Environment: Foster an inclusive and supportive atmosphere where the child can thrive.
* Collaborate: Work alongside teachers, parents, and other professionals to achieve the best outcomes for the child.
What We're Looking For:
* Experience: Proven experience in a 1:1 support role and working with children with ASD or other additional needs.
* Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and behaviour management skills.
