We are currently seeking a Secondary School Teaching Assistant on behalf of a Secondary school based in Luton. The successful candidate, whilst working under the supervision of a qualified teacher, must be able to work independently and provide support to small groups of children to assist in their learning and development. The role will also require the successful applicant to support on a 1:1 basis for pupils with a variety of SEN and additional needs as well as potentially supporting with some challenging behaviours. The role is full time, commencing ASAP or January 2025. The ideal candidate will have experience of working with children with SEND and also of working within KS3. Essentials: Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered with the update service (Or willing to apply for one through ourselves) Eligible to work in the UK (right to work in the UK documentation).
