Grafton Banks Finance is partnering with a rapidly growing commercial business based in Guildford, Surrey, to recruit a Billing Assistant on an initial three-month temporary contract. This role sits within the finance operations team, supporting the company’s billing process to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Generate and process sales invoices using operating software. Oversee the timely and accurate flow of billing files (invoices and pro formas), ensuring compliance with company standards. Collaborate with clients and internal teams in Operations and Account Management to drive efficiency and service excellence. Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, responding to inquiries within agreed timeframes. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients. Provide supporting documentation for audits and client requests. Proactively monitor pending invoices, ensuring timely processing. Ideal Candidate: Immediately available and able to start at short notice. Previous billing experience, ideally in a standalone billing role. Strong systems skills, including proficiency in Excel. Able to commute to Guildford daily.
