Are you a bubbly and energetic nanny who loves to look after toddlers?
A wonderful three day live-out nanny position has become available in Hambleden, Buckinghamshire.
You will be caring for a happy and active little girl aged 15 months. This will be a sole charge role, but Mum works from home sometimes and likes to join you for lunch when possible.
This professional family is extremely friendly, active, and sporty with a love of the outdoors and country life. They have two golden retrievers who are part of the family, so a love of dogs is essential.
They are looking for a nurturing, friendly and active nanny who can stay long-term and become part of their happy family. They feel the most important thing is to find a nanny who will fit well into their lives. The nanny should be a team player, a good communicator, creative and active, fun, and knowledgeable about babies and toddlers, childhood milestones, weaning and potty training.
The hours of the role will be 08.30-18.00, on a Monday, Wednesday and one other day to be agreed (28.5 hours/week). There is the possibility of some additional ad hoc hours and babysitting, but these will be mutually agreed and paid as overtime. Also, if you were interested in working an additional day and adding full housekeeping duties, this could be considered. The salary would be adjusted for this option.
The parents are keen for their little girl to learn and develop in a balanced way, hitting her various developmental milestones—with lots of educational and stimulating indoor fun (sensory games, reading stories, singing songs, crafts, den building, treasure hunts, etc.) mixed with plenty of outside play and walks in the fresh air. The family live in a rural location, in a house with plenty of indoor and outdoor space for the nanny to use. A nanny who is interested in child development and having fun is essential.
As they employ a cleaner, this role will only involve nursery duties, but someone proactive who can help to keep the house running smoothly would be appreciated—emptying the dishwasher, making sure all rooms are tidy at the end of the day, etc.
Along with keeping all areas used clean and organised (kitchen, child’s bedroom, playroom, etc.), the nursery duties include keeping on top of the child’s laundry. You will also be responsible for providing her with healthy and nutritious meals, homemade as often as possible, with plenty made in advance and frozen.
You should be a careful and confident driver with a fully insured car. Duty mileage will be paid.
This is a fabulous role and would suit someone who is happy to make a long-term commitment.
