About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Field Sales Representative - Pharmacy to join our dynamic team. As a Field Sales Representative at Venture Life, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing relationships, and driving sales growth in the independent pharmacy sector. The ideal candidate will already have an established network of contacts amongst independent pharmacies and a proven track record in sales within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement sales plans to increase market share, revenue, and brand awareness within the independent pharmacy sector.
* Leverage your existing network of contacts to build strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers in independent pharmacies.
* Take responsibility for the entire sales cycle, from identifying opportunities to closing sales and ensuring customer satisfaction.
* Regularly analyse market trends and competitor activities, providing actionable insights to enhance sales performance.
* Provide training and product information to pharmacy staff, in line with trade marketing guidelines, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge to effectively promote Venture Life products.
* Participate in Pharmacy trade shows, events, and business meetings to promote the company’s products and strengthen its market positioning.
* Work closely with the marketing team to align sales efforts with promotional strategies, ensuring maximum impact in the marketplace.
* Monitor and report on sales performance, KPIs, and customer feedback to senior management on a regular basis.
Who we are looking for:
* At least 3 to 5 years of experience in field sales, ideally within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or consumer healthcare industries.
* Established relationships with independent pharmacies and key decision-makers in the healthcare space.
* Strong sales acumen with the ability to drive revenue growth.
* Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and drive results in a target-driven environment.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and persuasively.
* Strong ability to identify customer needs and offer tailored solutions that drive customer satisfaction.
* Willingness to travel extensively within the designated sales region.
* Previous experience with independent pharmacy chains or local healthcare distributors.
* Knowledge of the consumer healthcare or OTC pharmaceutical products.
* Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including customers, distributors, and internal teams.
