Therapy Services is looking for motivated and enthusiastic Physiotherapists to join our rotational Band 6 team. We offer rotations in a variety of inpatient, outpatient, and community settings. The successful candidate will join our very supportive therapy teams and rotate every 6 months across a wide range of areas including:
* Acute Medical and Elderly Team including our award-winning Dementia Unit
* Community Therapy Team
* Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Outpatient Services
* Neurorehabilitation inpatients Team
* Rapid Response Team
* Respiratory (including critical care, surgery, and community)
* Trauma & Orthopaedics (including paediatrics and post anaesthetic care unit (PACU)

We offer excellent support through clinical supervision and in-service training opportunities to enable you to consolidate your career and develop as a Physiotherapist. Additionally, we provide close links with Universities and Trust research team to ensure your all-round development.
Main duties of the job
Within this rotational role you will be expected to use your specialist skills in the assessment and treatment of your own caseload of patients. You will work within multi-disciplinary teams and provide assessment and treatment advice both in a ward environment/outpatient setting or in other areas such as patients' homes. General duties of this role include providing clinical supervision for less experienced Band 5 staff, students, and non-qualified staff. Some of our teams offer a weekend working rota which you will be expected to contribute to in-line with delivering seven-day services.

Person Specification
Experience
* A variety of rotational experience as a Physiotherapist
* NHS experience and knowledge of the NHS structure.
Qualifications
* BSc Hons in Physiotherapy or equivalent
* Certificated attendance at external and internal courses relevant to area of work
Skills
* Developed clinical knowledge and clinical reasoning skills
* Experience of supervising and mentoring students
