We have an exciting new role.....
Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:
Our tier 1 ranked property disputes teams in Horsham are looking to hire an NQ/associate to join the team.
About the role
The team works across the full spectrum of property litigation (including construction-related disputes), working closely with colleagues across the real estate division. Clients include landed estates, charities, banks, and pension funds. Working alongside lawyers recognized for their expertise in the field, the role would offer an excellent opportunity to continue your personal development and further build your practice/personal brand in this sector. Our lawyers are also well supported with an internal infrastructure (including utilizing the latest legal technology), that will allow you to focus on providing 1st class client care and legal expertise.
About you
This role would be ideal for an NQ/associate-level candidate with previous property litigation experience. As a firm, we pride ourselves on making a difference to our clients. Our lawyers are therefore passionate about providing empathic client care and commercially minded legal advice. A passion for business development and promoting your own personal brand will also be beneficial, as well as an interest in legal technology as we look for ways to streamline and reduce the effort to serve our clients. In return, you will be joining the highest ranked property disputes team in the South-East and also the largest (meaning you would have exposure to a wide variety of property litigation work), and a firm that welcomes diversity of thought and champions ideas.
You'll spend at least 60% of your working week in the office, though we know there is no one-size-fits-all and arrangements may vary from role to role. Our strong culture is founded on working together in the office, which we aim to maintain through our people being regularly co-located, working cohesively and in collaboration with one another.
At Cripps, our purpose is to make a positive and lasting difference. It’s why we do what we do. In 2024, we became a certified B Corporation to make a legal and very public commitment that we mean what we say. As one of only a handful of UK B Corp law firms, we are held accountable to our social and environmental promises. We are transparent about what we are doing well and where we are falling short. We are excited about the opportunities this affords us to continually improve as a responsible, sustainable, and inclusive business. Come and join us to help solve real-world problems, champion big ambitions, and make a personal impact on our people, our clients, our planet, and our communities.
