Position Overview
This role sits within the Strategic Remediation and Control Office (SRCO), which leads Transformation and Remediation at Deutsche Bank. SRCO is responsible for the oversight of programs which contribute to the uplift of the firm’s capabilities across multiple lines of defense working in partnership with global Businesses, Risk, Compliance, Technology, and Audit ensures alignment of the portfolio of projects remains within groupwide strategic priorities and are successfully implemented to achieve the intended benefit and outcomes.

Your key responsibilities
* Direct elements of the outcome quality review process through review and challenge of regulatory responses in partnership with Senior Stakeholders and Program Leads, ensuring quality of planning, execution and risk management practices and quality assurance of delivery are applied
* Identify issues impacting business and operations under review, challenging management to ensure appropriate remedial actions taken
* Execute against a global framework for enhanced review and questioning of remediation delivery and outcomes, including testing capability aligned to regulatory expectations and criteria for scope of application
* Directly manage a team. Proven experience in mentoring/coaching teams required
* Effectively communicating, collaborating and positively influencing diverse stakeholders and team members
Your skills and experience
* Educated to Bachelor’s degree or above or equivalent qualification/work experience, preferably with a focus on economics, or business or equivalent experience
* Ideally have completed a recognised relevant post-graduate qualification (such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Member, Institute of Internal Auditors (CMIIA), Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS)
* Extensive experience in the financial services industry, within Third Line Internal Audit or Second Line Risk or Compliance Monitoring
* Strong financial crime and sanctions risk and control mindset; data management experience is a plus
* Experience in executive messaging, reporting and communications related to large scale (cross divisional/multiple geographies) regulatory programs
* Significant experience in risk management, effectively identifying and assessing risks within a portfolio along with developing and implementing sustainable mitigating actions
