The Role
As a Live-In Carer with Home Instead, you will live with a client in their home for 2 weeks at a time, providing round-the-clock care and support. You will assist with daily tasks such as personal care, medication management, meal preparation, companionship, and household duties. After your 2-week shift, you will have 2 weeks off.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities
* Provide personal care (e.g., assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming)
* Administer or assist with medication in line with the care plan
* Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if required
* Offer companionship and emotional support
* Assist with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping
* Support clients with mobility and transfers
* Keep accurate records of daily activities and changes in health
* Communicate effectively with family members and the care team
Qualifications
Requirements
* Prior experience in a care role
* A caring and compassionate nature
* Ability to live in the client’s home for 2 weeks at a time
* Good communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
* A valid driver’s license
* Eligibility to work in the UK
* Willingness to undergo a DBS check
