Finegreen are currently working with a large private healthcare organisation, in the appointment of this crucial FTC appointment for the next 9 to 12 months.
The task at hand is to completely transform the department which has circa 25 within the team; the organisation has c1000 employees FTE. As an organisation, they have experienced rapid growth over the past few years and the department needs modernising in terms of HR and Organisational Development as a whole.
One of the key tasks is the creation of a people-centric culture that attracts, develops, and retains the best talent - especially within the clinical teams. The timescale for this is as above.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with senior leadership to integrate HR initiatives into the division's strategic objectives, contributing to a sustainable, high-performance organisational culture;
2. Oversee the full range of HR activities, including recruitment, performance management, learning and development, employee engagement, reward and recognition, and HR policies and procedures;
3. Play a strategic role in aligning HR objectives with the divisional organisational goals and values;
4. Be instrumental in driving transformational change within the HR team and the wider organisation;
5. Must be familiar with organisational design, operating models, and excited by technology;
6. Driven by values and purpose and committed to making a positive impact on the lives of the people within the services supplied;
7. Act as a trusted advisor on HR matters, including organisational design, operating models, and change management, to ensure that all HR initiatives align with and support the organisational needs;
8. Develop and implement leadership programs to nurture current and future leaders, building a strong talent pipeline and equipping leaders with skills to drive organisational success;
9. Create initiatives that promote a results-driven, collaborative, and inclusive culture, ensuring alignment with the division's vision and values;
Ideal Candidate:
1. BSc/BA Degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, or a related business field;
2. Must be qualified to a minimum of CIPD Level 7 or equivalent;
3. At least 10 years of proven experience in HR leadership at a Senior or Board level, within the health or social care sector;
4. Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices, ensuring compliance and risk management including Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment).
