Salary: up to £37,000 plus company vehicle and Veolia benefits
Hours: 43 hours per week, Monday to Friday (1 in 4 call out rota)

What you'll be doing:
Mainly based on site in Hull, but with travel between several industrial sites (District Heating, Effluent Treatment and Steam Boilers) across East Yorkshire to carry out both planned preventative maintenance and additional reactive works
Liaising with contractors and suppliers during planned services
Ensuring all contractual service expectations are delivered for the customer, with occasional call out to customer houses
Take an active role in reviewing on site documentation such as risk assessments, method statements, SOPs, COSHH, SDS, etc ensuring they are up to date
Work with supervisors and other team members to ensure statutory maintenance is completed and sites are always compliant
Engage with and contribute to monthly engineering meeting to encourage continuous improvement within the area
Helping to build a strong HSE culture by reporting near misses and safety concerns, supporting supervisors to investigate and close out any actions
What we're looking for:
Qualified to HNC or ONC level (mechanical or electrical) preferred
Previous experience with steam boilers and industrial effluent treatment (DAF plants) beneficial
Health & safety awareness qualification (IOSH)
Gas safe, BOAS and IEE 18th Edition would be beneficial, but can also be trained on job
Willingness to develop and upskill through targeted training
Strong problem solving ability and adaptability
Full clean UK drivers licenceWhat's next?
