Job Overview:
You will be part of the Goods Handling Team, an integral part of the Boughey operation, planning multiple customer orders into consolidated load achieving both efficient and customer lead times.
What's on offer:
* Shift pattern - 4 on 4 off days, 6am to 6pm
* Hours per week - 39.375
* £28,000 to £38,000 DoE per annum - paid monthly
* Holidays - 23.5 days per annum.
Key duties and tasks:
* Book in and co-ordinate third party drivers and ensure the required paperwork is handed in, assign loaders to complete their outbound collections in a timely manner.
* Run accurate reports from systems as requested.
* Proactively strive for efficient and logical ways of working.
* Accurately key in collections into the S.A.P system.
* Liaise with drivers, warehouse supervisors and GHT team leader/loaders to rectify issues which arise.
* Escalate issues as appropriate.
* To answer telephones and communicate information to other departments where necessary.
* To undertake any other reasonable request as directed by the Warehouse Manager.
* Completing HSP11 reporting and dealing in an appropriate manner with accidents and incidents that occur on site.
* Report observations onto the Evotix system when required.
* Provide briefings to the GHT team when required and highlight key areas from the board pack.
* Conduct 3 and 6-month probation reviews.
* Carry out investigations in accordance with the H&S & HR procedures.
* Ensure staffing levels are adequately maintained as business levels require and arrange cover as required.
* Carry out disciplinaries as per the HR procedure.
* Appropriate work is released accurately when instructed and any anomalies or concerns are noticed and escalated immediately.
* Third party drivers are booked as required and the related processes are carried out without error and within reasonable time frames.
* Data inputted into SAP meets agreed levels of accuracy.
* All issues which arise are dealt with proactively and efficiently and are escalated where appropriate.
* All colleagues and external contacts are communicated with in an appropriate manner which represents the company well and information is communicated clearly and politely.
* All reasonable requests are carried out as instructed.
* Ensure all Training & Quality policies are up to date and refreshed as and when required.
* All paperwork is completed within the required timeframes and to an appropriate level of accuracy.
* To abide by all Company Policies and Procedures.
* Support and deliver on the Company mission, vision and live and promote the Company values.
* Liaise with relevant internal stakeholders to maintain the highest standards with due regard to Customer requirements and in line with HARA, BRCGS and any other internal or external legislation / audits.
* To be aware of and adhere to the Company’s Health & Safety Policy, taking responsibility for the Health, Safety, environmental and welfare of yourself and others in your departments.

Requirements and Qualifications:
* Microsoft Office - essential
* SAP knowledge - essential
* Experience of Managing a team
* Experience of working in Warehousing/Transport/Loading
* Communication skills are a must as you will need to converse with Key Stakeholders: Boughey Transport team, customers, Retailers, Boughey Customer Service, Boughey Quality Team & Boughey Warehouse and Goods Handling Team.
* Time Management skills, the ability to prioritise workload as well as multi task and work to tight deadlines.
* A good level of communication both through telephone and written form with a range of individuals, across different departments and locations.
* Team player – being able to work as part of a team is essential.
