Service Coordinator Join my clients team as a Service Coordinator, where you will play a central role in maintaining high standards of customer service and operational efficiency. Reporting to the Office Team Leader, this position is crucial for ensuring that their field services are delivered smoothly and effectively, aligning with their commitment to excellence. Day-to-day of the role: Provide product and technical information, tailoring advice to meet customer requirements. Handle customer enquiries via telephone and email, prioritising customer communication. Identify customer product needs and liaise with suppliers and our purchasing department as necessary. Assist in resolving customer issues, document these incidents, and escalate serious concerns to the Branch Manager. Allocate jobs to engineers via ERP systems, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness. Issue completed Job Cards to customers and manage the invoicing process by requesting order numbers. Support the sales team by checking stock, raising quotations, and processing sales orders from start to finish to maximise service level agreements. Communicate efficiently with all internal departments to ensure correct product allocation for each job card and coordinate resources to reduce customer waiting times. Order products from suppliers and maintain effective communication with our purchasing department. Review customer service disputes proactively to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Manage the Work in Progress (WIP) in line with company policy. Required Skills & Qualifications: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to express ideas clearly and confidently at all levels. Good knowledge of UK geographics to effectively plan resource allocation by area or region. Strong problem-solving skills with a systematic approach to establishing facts and principles. Ability to understand and produce detailed customer or internal reports. Team player with the ability to work confidently within a group or independently. Effective time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines. Proactive attitude towards service delivery, constantly seeking better methods to achieve service levels.
