We have an exciting opportunity for an Assessor – Supporting Teaching and Learning (Adult Learning) to join the team on a Claims basis. In return,you will receive a competitive rate of £15.00 per hour.

About the role:
As the Assessor – Supporting Teaching and Learning, you will continually improve the learning experience and achievement of Adult students.
Responsibilities as our Assessor – Supporting Teaching and Learning will include:
Deliver programmes in accordance with college and external funding bodies/professional bodies standards.
Make assessment decisions and provide feedback to learners
Devise a programme of activities to maximise assessment opportunities.
Be involved in the preparation of Individual learning Plans for learners in accordance with quality standards.
Monitor learner progress, assess performance and undertake tutorials and reviews
Maintain appropriate course files for learners.
Be involved in the development of teaching and learning resources as appropriate.
Identify learners with special requirements and arrange support in accordance with college policy.
As our Assessor – Supporting Teaching and Learning, you'll ideally have:
Experience of working as a Learning Support/Teaching Assistant
Assessor Award or willing to work towards achieving it
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience of delivering training.
The ability to work under pressure to meet enrolment and achievement targets.
