Spectrum IT have partnered with a leading IT & telecoms provider on the heart of the South coast. They have just hired a 3rd line engineer & Network engineer and have further plans to grow in 2025. They are now looking for a 2nd line engineer to join their business on the helpdesk. The role comes with amazing opportunities to learn and grow with training and Microsoft certifications planned for the team in early 2025.
Key skills/Experience:
Strong experience of 1st line support within a helpdesk environment
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Triaging of support tickets that come through the helpdesk
Supporting 1st line escalations with further investigation
Create and maintain documentation for technical procedures
Excellent communication skills both over the phone and email
Strong technical expertise of support Microsoft domain; Office365, InTune, AzureAD
Understanding of networking fundamentals (routing, switching, VLANs, IPSec and firewalling)
Full UK Driving licenceBeneficial skills/Experience:
Experience in an MSP environment
Any Microsoft support certifications/qualifications
