As our Senior Well Control Equipment Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the planning and execution of projects including scope, deliverables, and scheduling manpower resources. What you will be doing.
1. Support the preparation of tenders and proposals about the Well Control Equipment services offered.
2. Support the overall rig inspection team to meet established targets and standards.
3. Support the European & Regional Management team in growing the Business.
4. Review technical reports, before client issues.
5. Review of WCE Standards and Internal Standards to meet continuous improvements.
6. Conduct Well Control Equipment Technical Projects & WCE Assurance Projects.
7. Support, maintain and develop new and existing clients through appropriate propositions and relevant liaison to optimize quality of service, business growth and client satisfaction–raising commercial awareness.
This position can be based from any of our UK offices.
Applicants must have the legal right to work and reside in the UK.
Flexibility regarding working hours, willingness to travel and work within a variety of time zones – International & offshore travel is a requirement of the job. Local and international travel will be required (to meet clients in international hubs) and to conduct inspections and attendances.
What we are looking for.
Ideally, you will be an experienced Well Control Equipment Engineer. More specifically, we are looking for the following:
8. At least 15 years relevant experience as a subsea engineer.
9. Mechanical or Electrical qualifications relevant to WCE.
10. Recognized IWCF / IADC Well Control Certificate.
11. Offshore survival certificates.
12. Medical certificates for offshore working.
13. Can demonstrate working knowledge of drilling operations and, Mechanical, Hydraulic and Electrical Engineering systems and equipment.
14. Good decision-making capability with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment and strong operational focus
15. Accurate reporting and the ability to deliver high-quality work on time.
16. Good communication and interpersonal skills, strong leadership ability and be able to deal effectively with multiple issues and assignments simultaneously.
Desirable Skills:
17. Previous experience in a similar role.
18. Industry WCE training.
19. OEM Well Control Equipment Training.
20. Drilling Equipment training.
21. Exposure to WCE assurance processes.
