Our apprenticeship scheme is run in partnership with a leading provider, Leeds City College, to ensure you are fully supported through a high-quality training programme. The apprenticeship will provide you with valuable experience and offer a strong foundation for future careers. Whilst completing your apprenticeship programme you will be a band 2 Apprentice Support Worker. You will be expected to fulfil the full role and responsibilities by the end of the training period, and a development plan will be put in place by your line manager confirming the competencies they expect you to develop during that time. On successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will progress to band 3 as a Support Worker. You will be supported with your learning and the skills needed to undertake the role. This support will be provided by your manager, mentor, learning provider, and other professional colleagues. This is a Level 2 apprenticeship so you need to be able to work at a Level 1 in English and Maths (equivalent to grade D or grade 3). If you do not have evidence of these qualifications, we will support you to achieve Level 1 Functional Skills.
