I&C is a £7 billion revenue business serving c20,000 customers and approximately 200,000 meter points. We have an exciting opportunity for x2 Strategic Client Leads to join our Generation Services team. For this role, you will be responsible for selling structured, highly complex or bespoke Generation Services products to higher value, complex third parties and clients, including (but not limited to) Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) from UK generation companies including ROCs (Renewable Obligation Certificates) and REGOS (Renewable Energy Guarantees of Origin). This role is homebased, with nationwide travel required (car allowance provided). Key responsibilities Identify, create, and manage high level critical strategic stakeholder relationships across key partnerships to deliver new business and support relationships at Senior Management levels. Prospect opportunities to grow the sector through the delivery of PPAs, ROCs and REGOs to deliver challenging growth targets. Ensure accuracy of all account data across the team to maintain sustainable supply and value add pipelines across the portfolio, including power supply, gas supply, Data and Metering Services (D&MS). Create and manage a team territory plan to deliver agreed business target in terms of revenue, EBIT, volume. Identify cross-sell opportunities to broaden the value of the customer base. Utilise industry knowledge and expertise to develop a wide range of high-level external networks that will build and enhance I&C’s reputation, highlight capabilities, and generate opportunities that will grow value to the bottom line. Deliver deals that are fully compliant with the agreed DOA and approvals process and minimise rework. What we need from you A strong understanding of the UK Energy Market specifically skilled in development, negotiation, and execution and of complex products and contractual and financial and credit management tools, specifically in the Generation Services market space. Experience with independent generators and/or strategic customers. Strong commercial and technical competence with substantial experience gained in the energy industry. Experience in managing accounts, having worked across multiple sectors such as PPAs, ROCS, REGOS, power supply, gas supply. Demonstrable significant awareness of the strengths and weaknesses of the competition in the Generation Services market, along with the ability to capitalise on this knowledge.
