Position Summary
We have a fabulous opportunity for a talented Customer Development Manager to join our Nestlé Professional business to develop customer relationships and win new business in the Leisure & On the Go channel.
Nestlé Professional (“NP”) is our Business to Business food service arm, which specializes in the Out of Home solutions market. NP operates successfully in an enormous marketplace and is an ambitious growth driver for Nestlé. The team’s aim is to inspire growth in our partners, by providing branded, creative solutions that help our customers develop their business, ultimately driving footfall and increasing their profit.

A day in the life of a Customer Development Manager …
In this role, you will be responsible for creating, developing and executing our plans in targeted commercial customers. This role is a unique opportunity to be part of a winning team and work with some brilliant customers across all commercial channels, including leisure, high street and food to go.
You will have the opportunity to develop critical experiences which will enable you to accelerate your commercial career towards potential further senior level opportunities in the years ahead.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Management and accountability of the P&L
* Work with key stakeholders to create Joint Business Plans which deliver growth & profit in multiple categories in the commercial channels.
* Constructing Contracts which are aligned to customer needs and contribute to building growth for NP
* Devise specific customer propositions which are fully aligned to NP strategic priorities – including the project management of bespoke developments.
* Management of all internal steps and processes vs. customer expectations to deliver the sale
* Build ‘Winning Relationships’ through effective stakeholder management – internal and external
* Management of customer budgets
* Manage internal regional relationships
What will make you successful?
You will already be a successful Customer Development Manager / Account Manager who is passionate about building quality customer relationships and be able to demonstrate strong commercial acumen and results focus.
You’ll be able to demonstrate your experience of advanced complex negotiations which have resulted in winning large contracts. Your ability to think strategically and be able to influence both internally and externally is key.
You’ll be able to demonstrate the ability to ideate and co-create product ideas for bespoke development and have a history in project management and hitting key milestones.
Having knowledge of the Quick Service Restaurant Channel would be an added advantage.
