Service Manager/EstimatorOur client is seeking an experienced Service Manager with knowledge of the installation, maintenance and repair of all types of commercial doors, door hardware and windows. This is a chance to make a difference in a small close-knit team who take pride in what they do. Working closely with the Operations Director you will manage clients' needs from start to completion.Your role as Service Manager will involve:Planning programme of works for service engineers using field management software tool.
Work types includeplanned work - both new installation and periodic maintenancereactive maintenancecall outsTaking calls from customers, recording jobs on the field management software and allocating them to engineersReviewing completed jobs prior to invoicing and allocating prices where appropriateCarrying out site surveys for commercial door and windows installations; including relevant hardwareSourcing/ordering parts & obtaining prices as requiredCollecting materials and receiving deliveries as required. This will involve some manual handling as well use of a forkliftPreparing professional and accurate quotations prior to sending them to customers on a timely basisEnsuring all periodic servicing is carried out in line with agreed service intervalsCovering for Operations Director when they are out of the officeEstablishing good working relationships with colleagues, customers and suppliersAssisting with company stock countsAny other duties that you may reasonably be requested to do from time to time.Essential/desired skillsKnowledge of doors/door hardware/windows/glazing/window hardware beneficial or similar industryHigh level of computer literacy (Word/Excel etc)Knowledge of field management software beneficialForklift licence advantageousTPBN1_UKTJ
