Overview:
The HR Manager Europe serves as a strategic advisor, collaborator, and advocate for both employees and leadership within their assigned business units across the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Czech Republic and beyond (approximately 300 employees). The HR Manager Europe works closely with leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives, ensuring the delivery of key people-focused initiatives that drive organizational success globally. The HR Manager Europe will provide oversight for local payroll and benefits and act as employee's local first HR contact. This role requires a proactive approach to addressing workforce challenges, promoting employee engagement, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Role & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnership:
Collaborate with business leaders to align HR strategies with organizational goals and objectives.
Provide guidance on workforce planning, organizational design, and talent management strategies.
Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and recommend solutions for improving performance and engagement.
Employee Relations:
Serve as a trusted advisor for managers and employees, addressing workplace concerns and resolving conflicts in a fair and consistent manner.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
Conduct investigations and recommend appropriate actions as needed.
Talent Management:
Partner with leadership to identify, develop, and retain top talent within the organization.
Support performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning.
Facilitate succession planning and leadership development initiatives.
Employee Engagement and Culture:
Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement and foster a positive workplace culture.
Support diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts to ensure a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Act as a change agent to support organizational transformation and growth.
HR Program Implementation:
Ensure the successful execution of HR programs, including onboarding, benefits enrollment, and training initiatives.
Provide oversight for local payroll and benefits, in coordination with Resonant payroll
Act as employee's local first HR contact
Provide guidance on compensation planning, rewards, and recognition programs.
Lead or contribute to projects related to policy development, HRIS implementation, or other organizational initiatives.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
Support audits and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
Develop and maintain accurate documentation and records.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) preferred.
5+ years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on strategic HR partnership and employee relations.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and influence across all levels of the organization.
Proven ability to analyze data and develop actionable insights to address workforce challenges.
Experience in coaching and mentoring leaders to drive organizational effectiveness.
Familiarity with HRIS systems, performance management tools, and talent acquisition platforms.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
