To be responsible for the specialist assessment and management and physiotherapy service provision for service users who have a variety of complex physiotherapy needs, diverse presentations, and a range of mental health and / or Neurological conditions. To triage and prioritise physiotherapy referrals to implement effective and timely caseload management. To provide on-going specialist physiotherapy assessment and treatment using evidence-based practice. The post holder will work as a member of the multi-disciplinary team ensuring that high quality, individualised care is delivered and that this maximises independence and promotes recovery and wellbeing. To provide clinical supervision, support, teaching and leadership to staff and contribute to in service training. To facilitate the delivery of physiotherapy student education within the clinical setting. Participate in service improvement and assist with the implementation of specific changes to practice and contribute to service protocols. To provide compassionate care that is based on empathy, kindness, respect and dignity. An informal visit to both departments is welcomed. Please find attached job description for full details.
