Job Title: KS3 SEN Outreach Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, High Ongar Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: 1. Provide individualised support and guidance to Key Stage 3 (KS3) students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). 2. Develop and implement tailored educational plans to meet the specific needs of each student. 3. Conduct outreach sessions to support students in various academic subjects and assist with homework assignments. 4. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development. 5. Monitor and track student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed to promote learning and growth. Required Qualifications: - Relevant teaching qualification - Experience working with SEN students - Strong communication and interpersonal skills Education: - Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role Knowledge and Skills: - In-depth understanding of SEN educational strategies - Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs - Proficiency in assessing student progress and implementing interventions Working Conditions: - Work in a learners home, or local library - Full-time hours during term time - Potential for remote outreach sessions All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
