What you’ll be doing?
Working in our ‘Recycle loop’, you will be responsible for securing new business from a set of specific market sectors that are a key focus in our business growth strategy for our Construction and Infrastructure sectors.
A key requirement will be the development and maintenance of a strong sales pipeline that will come from a combination of self-generated and company provided leads. Success in these sectors is built upon trust, relationships and excellent customer service – going above and beyond in a competitive marketplace.

You will have the opportunity to engage and present to a variety of client stakeholders from on-site operations to the board room. The objective being to build a portfolio of profitable business accounts whilst generating social, economic and environmental value for customers. Supported by operational and senior management teams, you will be given the opportunity to grow with your customer base and play a critical part in the environmental performance of your customers.

What you’ll gain from this opportunity?

To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A 2:2 degree, equivalent or higher qualification; ideally but not limited to a subject related to Sales or Business.
* Self-confidence, drive and resilience, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and the tenacity to develop into a new business, sales role.
* An innovative thinker; sees change as an opportunity to grow new business.
* Ability to work on own initiative, with the drive to take ownership of projects.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective and mutually beneficial working relationships, both internally and externally.
* Ability to rapidly absorb new and complex information with ease and speed to conduct an incisive analysis.
* Energy and enthusiasm to deliver goals and achievements.
* A full UK driving licence – there could potentially be visits to customers from time to time.

Salary: A competitive basic salary + performance-based bonus.
Work location: You will need to live within a commutable distance to Telford, to work predominantly from the office.
