We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and ambitious teaching assistant to support the progress of our students in and out of the classroom. You will be instrumental in inspiring and motivating our students. You will play a key role in helping to drive the school forward; raising standards and creating outstanding life chances for students.
Changing Lives Independent School is an independent special school offering young people aged 11-18 a unique learning experience through working with animals. We are committed to offering the highest level of education and support in preparation for life after school. Changing Lives Independent School is located in Carrington in Trafford, Manchester. We have a current intake of 40 learners, all students have an EHCP.
Our Vision is ‘To inspire young people to connect with society through working with horses, dogs and other small animals as well as appreciating the outdoors’. We want our children and young people to be the best they can be within an environment that is suited to them. We focus upon practical skills as well as academic standards which are equally important to help develop their independent skills that will enable them to achieve and stand out as valued members of their Communities.
We will invest in you and provide you with ongoing Continuous Professional Development covering all aspects of teaching, learning and leadership, preparing you for the next phase of your career.
