We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our Hospitality team at Sanders Senior Living.
About the Role:
As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in the planning, preparation, and presentation of meals for our residents. Your exceptional cooking skills, creativity, and attention to detail will ensure that every meal is a delight for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
* Supervise and train junior staff members
* Manage inventory and stock levels to minimize waste and reduce costs
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years' experience as a Sous Chef in a similar environment
* Excellent cooking skills and knowledge of nutrition and health
* Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
* Good communication and teamwork skills
