This is a fantastic opportunity to work in the Scottish Borders and experience the benefits of rural life with very easy access to major cities such as Edinburgh (37 Miles) Glasgow (75 miles) and Newcastle (75 miles).
The Service is looking to recruit registered RMN/LD nurses to work across the 4 inpatient wards and there may be opportunities within our Community Mental Health Teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with mental health conditions.
2. Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs.
3. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
4. Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
6. Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to promote person centred care.
Requirements:
7. Registered/working towards valid NMC registration.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
10. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
11. Commitment to ongoing professional development.
