To plan and carry out social/recreational activities on a group and individual basis with service users on the unit.
The post holder will assist in the planning of a unit individual and group activity programme, which may require working with other members of the ward staff.
Main duties of the job
To plan, organise and carry out independently a varied programme of recreational and social activities providing group and individual sessions.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Qualifications
* Able to explain the value for service users in engaging in activity.
* NVQ level 3/or equivalent or Certificate in Community Mental Health.
Experience
* Interest in mental health issues.
* Previous experience of working with or contact with client group or in a rehabilitation setting.
* Previous experience of planning and carrying out activity groups.
Attributes
* Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
* Able to work without direct supervision.
* Previous experience of working within a team.
