Salary: up to circa £25,000 per annum + bonus
We are working with a well-established, Lexcel and CQS accredited law firm, who are seeking an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join their busy Conveyancing team in Birmingham city centre.
The role will involve:
1. Providing support to a busy Conveyancing Team
2. Preparing correspondence using a legal case management system
3. Attending to clients on the telephone, by email and in person
4. Administering filing systems which will include daily filing and the opening, closing, storage and retrieval of client files
5. Preparing mail and enclosures for dispatch
6. Diary Management
7. Arranging the scanning and photocopying of paperwork
8. Audio typing from dictation
9. Carrying out other duties and responsibilities as required
10. Dealing with routine client correspondence and queries
Suitable candidates will have:
1. Previous experience of working within Residential Conveyancing
2. A sound understanding of the conveyancing process
3. The ability to undertake searches, ID checks and other work on client files
4. Excellent communication skills
5. Good organisational skills
Details:
This is a full-time office-based, permanent job working 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Home working can be accommodated on an ad-hoc basis.
