Job Description Position: Employment Solicitor Location: Shrewsbury, Shropshire Experience Required : 2 Years PQE Salary: £45,000 -£65,000 DOE About the Role: We are seeking a motivated and skilled Employment Solicitor to join our client's dynamic team in Shrewsbury. With a minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification experience, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert legal advice on a range of employment matters to both employer and employee clients. Key Responsibilities: Advise clients on employment law issues, including unfair dismissal, discrimination, redundancy, and contracts of employment. Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and tribunal proceedings. Draft and review employment-related documents such as contracts, policies, and settlement agreements. Stay updated on changes in employment legislation and case law, ensuring compliance and best practices for clients. Collaborate with colleagues to deliver comprehensive legal solutions and contribute to business development initiatives. What We’re Looking For: Qualified Solicitor with at least 2 years PQE in employment law. Strong understanding of employment legislation and best practices. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build lasting client relationships. A proactive and client-focused approach, with a commitment to achieving the best outcomes.
