We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Manager within the food industry. Working in a state-of-the-art operation you will oversee all warehousing activities related to the storage, handling, packing and loading of all products. You will ensure that inventory management, packaging, loading, and dispatch processes are efficient, safe and compliant with food safety and quality standards. You will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of warehouse management systems and food safety protocols. Key Responsibilities: Inventory Management:
o Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of products, packaging and warehouse raw materials.
o Maintain optimal stock levels, ensuring accurate and real-time inventory records using warehouse management systems.
o Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) principles to ensure good stock rotation and minimise waste.
o Manage stock control personnel
Warehouse Operations:
o Plan and coordinate daily warehouse activities including packing, storage, loading operations and warehouse good inwards.
o Manage the movement of goods between production and warehouse, ensuring the timely and efficient flow of materials.
o Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and safety within the warehouse to comply with health and food safety regulations.
