Calling all compassionate and dedicated individuals! Mencap is seeking passionate Support Workers to join our incredible team in Tuebrook area of Liverpoolwhere we support 3 ladies 24/7 within their own home.
As a Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will be working with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs.
From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, you’ll play a vital role in their life.
You will be supporting 3 females between the ages of 38-50 years old. All people we support are active, access the community on a daily basis and have a positive presence in the local community.
What we're looking for :
1. A genuine passion for supporting others.
2. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
3. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
4. A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
We also need drivers with a full UK driving licence and your own vehicle.
Contract options :
5. Part-time: (30 hours per week) flexible hours based on availability
Shift times :
You will be required to work sleep in shifts 10pm-10am sleep 8am-10am, day shifts 10am-6pm and 10am-4pm and evening shifts depending on the people we support activities. This is an active service, requires staff to work occasional evenings to attend Theatre shows. We work on a four week rolling rota, this enables family/work balance. You are given your rota minimum of 8 weeks in advance.
