Main duties of the job
The Activities Coordinator is responsible for planning and coordinating a range of activities that cater to the diverse interests, abilities, and cultural backgrounds of the residents. They will work collaboratively with the Home Manager and the wider community team to create an engaging and inclusive environment. The role involves organizing individual and group activities, encouraging resident participation, accompanying residents on outings, and assisting with fundraising initiatives to support the activities program. The ideal candidate will have a caring nature, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work flexibly and adaptably to meet the changing needs of the residents.
Job responsibilities
* Plan and coordinate a variety of activities for residents.
* Encourage resident participation in both individual and group activities.
