24-7 Recruitment Services acting as an Employment Business are currently recruiting for a Transport SAP Controller on behalf of our client, based in Liverpool, Eastlands.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Working as part of the Eastlands Freight team to control the flow of EU/UK inbound vehicles both direct and from the Staging Location.
2. Update SAP with Day 0 updates including delays, cancellations and NTC's for Direct Deliveries and B to C deliveries from staging location.
3. Update SAP with special deliveries via vendor directs or R&FU including uploading of additional TU required.
4. Liaising with R&FU with any prioritising during peak/exceeding delivery parameters.
5. Chase up EU/UK Ops team for updates on any late deliveries to Staging location.
6. Booking additional slots for extra deliveries, cancelling slots for collections not required.
7. Controlling, maintaining and arranging dock slots as per the dock plan and operational requirements.
8. Maintaining and co-ordinating deliveries into Halewood for both Direct and B to C from Staging Location.
9. Update SAP with DAY 0 amendments including additional, cancellations or any other amendments.
10. Create TU with Trailer ID.
11. Assign TU to appointment.
12. Identify, solve and report operational inconsistencies, problems and delays and where applicable escalate to senior management.
13. Adhere to company rules, regulations and legislation relating to occupational health and safety, the environment and risk management.
Desirable Skills:
1. EU/UK Automotive operational experience.
2. SAP Awareness.
3. Good degree of computer literacy, including Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint experience.
4. Ability to demonstrate analytical and logical thinking.
5. Good analytical and numerical skills.
6. Technical aptitude in the use of a variety of supporting software tools.
7. Excellent communicator (verbal & written).
8. Strong and effective organisational skills.
9. Able to demonstrate previous examples of solution innovation.
10. Demonstrable experience of a high standard of commercial awareness and understanding of key costs and drivers within the supply chain.
In-house training would be offered for the roles with initial training being in Birmingham, so candidates would need to be available to travel for training purposes in the interim.
Shift Pattern:
1. 1st week: 06:00 - 14:00
2. 2nd week: 14:00 - 22:00
Pay Information:
Basic: £14.70
OT after 8h or weekend: £22.05
