Vice President, Structure Finance / Asset-Backed Security
Leading asset management and investment advisory firm seeks a Vice President to oversee a loan portfolio of Asset-Backed Securities (ABS) backed by diverse underlying assets across multiple sectors. Monitor key metrics and identify trends, risks, and areas of concern.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a diverse loan book of ABS securities backed by various types of underlying assets.
* Sectors may include equipment loans and consumer loans, such as car loans and credit cards.
* Monitor portfolio performance and key metrics, identifying trends, risks, and areas of concern.
* Conduct regular credit reviews and assessments to evaluate the quality and performance of underlying assets.
* Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential losses and ensure the stability of the ABS loan portfolio.
* Lead the development and refinement of financial models, analytics, and data reports for loan performance tracking and forecasting.
* Provide insights into portfolio trends and deliver actionable recommendations to senior management.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field (MBA, CFA, or related certifications preferred).
* At least 6-10 years of relevant experience in ABS loan management, structured finance, or related role within a financial institution, loan servicer, or asset manager.
* In-depth knowledge of ABS products, structured finance, risk management, and client relationship management.
* Demonstrated experience working with various ABS asset classes, including equipment loans and consumer loans.
* Proficiency in financial analysis, loan performance modeling, and data management, with advanced skills in Excel.
* This is a client-facing role requiring excellent written and spoken English skills.
* Strong client management and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and think analytically.
* Advanced competence with PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
