This will include patients with different cultural or language or who have difficulties in understanding or communicating. Demonstrate highly developed dexterity, co-ordination and palpatory senses, for the assessment and manual treatment of patients. Contribute to projects that improve service delivery and clinical practice and offer recommendations for change to the team, or team leader. Participate in the staff appraisal scheme as an appraisee and be responsible for complying with your agreed personal development programmes to meet set knowledge and competencies. Undertake the measurement and evaluation of your work and current practices through the use of evidence based practice projects, audit and outcome measures, either individually or with more senior physiotherapists. Be an active member of the in-service training programme by attendance at and delivery of in-service training and fully participate in tutorials, individual training sessions and peer review. Undertake as directed the collection of data for use in service audit and research projects. Manage and undertake research into specific areas of clinical practice and service delivery using a range of research methodologies as part of MDT audit and departmental research initiatives. Be actively involved in professional clinical groups, such as the trust Journal Club, CSP Clinical Interest Groups, Clinical Governance Groups and other professional development activities. Provide clinical education and training to physiotherapy students to graduate level on physiotherapeutic skills and knowledge within core clinical areas. Provide support guidance and training to more junior physiotherapists and assistants, assessing and evaluating competence.
