We are recruiting a Service Advisor on behalf of a very reputable business based in Gloucester.
The purpose of this role is to act as the first point of contact for both customers and engineers. We need someone really dynamic and forward-thinking. This role requires someone who is organised and efficient, as they have demanding clients, breakdowns, and emergencies to respond to all over the UK. Daily activities within the Service Department are focused on ensuring timely fulfilment of customer needs and constantly improving the level of customer service provided.
Principal Responsibilities/Duties:
* Field incoming service requests and technical queries - both telephone and via email.
* Schedule engineer attendance.
* Communicate with customers – scheduling a large scope of works and supporting fundamental documentation.
* Promote the business, build positive relationships, and ensure a positive customer experience.
* Communicate with Engineers - confirm workload and issue reports. Check parts/stock.
* Liaise with sub-contractors - place orders and see the job through from start to completion.
* Provide service support - check engineer reports prior to issuing to customers. Prepare quotations for remedial works. Complete Sales Orders to ensure prompt invoicing. Create Proforma invoices and obtain payment.
* Manage parts - arrange for components to be sent to engineers/sub-contractors. Assist in managing returned items.
* Department development - make suggestions and strive for improvement. Implement agreed changes and be adaptable to change.
* Engage in pro-active office-based sales and promotion of Service Packages.

Salary: £28,000- £30,000 basic
