The Opportunity We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Computational Biologist to join our Data Science & Genomics team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the advancement of therapies for chronic diseases by developing biological insights through analysis and interpretation of single cell and spatial transcriptomics data. You will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of computational biologists, AI/ML experts, cell biologists, and biotherapeutic discovery scientists to drive drug discovery in human disease. What this role will Involve Lead the analysis and interpretation of spatial transcriptomics datasets to uncover cellular and molecular insights related to inflammatory diseases. Curate, preprocess, and manage internal and external spatial and single-cell genomics datasets, ensuring high-quality and well-structured data for analysis. Collaborate with data scientists, biologists and therapeutic area leaders to co-develop hypotheses and identify therapeutic targets using single-cell and spatial genomics data. Apply and contribute to development of advanced computational approaches to analyse large-scale data, including statistical modelling and machine learning techniques. Communicate findings effectively across a range of technical and non-technical audiences. What we expect from you Qualifications and Skills PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Molecular Biology, Genetics, or a related field with a strong publication record in high-impact journals. Minimum of 5 years of experience in computational biology in industry or academia, with desired expertise in spatial transcriptomics and single-cell data. Proficiency in Python for data analysis, familiarity with AWS cloud infrastructure. Demonstrated experience in curation, integration, and management of large-scale datasets. Desired familiarity with statistical and machine-learning methods. Exposure to and/or expertise in immunology and inflammatory diseases is desired.
