Role overview
Ripon Ground Care, is part of the Ripon Group, a family owned multibranch agricultural and ground care dealership covering 13 sites within Yorkshire, Teesside, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire. We are responsible for the sale and aftersales support of a wide range of turf machinery and products.
We require a Grounds Care Service Technician to perform diagnostics, service, repair and maintenance on customer and dealer owned, horticultural equipment. This includes lawnmowers, chainsaws, hedge trimmers, and strimmers from brands such as John Deere, Honda, Stihl, Husqvarna, and Mountfield. While most servicing and repairs will take place at the depot, some work will also be carried out on customer sites.
Essential Duties
· Perform diagnostics, service, repairs and maintenance on horticultural equipment
· Perform pre-delivery set-up on new or used equipment
· Complete administration tasks (including time sheets and job cards)
· Maintain a clean workstation at all times
· Adhere to all safety regulations and company procedures.
· Participate in training programs to enhance skills and technical knowledge.
